Black Ballerina

The ballerina is designed and produced by Victoria Ladefoged. It is made from discarded boxes that were previously used to deliver fruit, vegetables and meal boxes. Since the wood from the boxes is different and all the figures are hand-painted, no two dolls are the same. Therefore, there will be variations from the images on the website.

The silhouette ballerina is inspired by Turkish shadow plays, where dolls on sticks form silhouettes.

All of Victoria Ladefoged's products are made from recycled materials. They are all handmade in Denmark and her designs are rooted in Danish craftsmanship tradition with a touch of play and humor.
