The structure of the wood, its living surface, and the subtle variations in relief draw the eye and create a sense of depth and tactility. The motif is taken from one of the city’s hidden places along the waterfront, capturing a quiet moment within Copenhagen’s urban landscape.

This piece is part of the Urban Living collection, a collection is designed by architect Eva Wandel and graphic designer Rikke Nogel as a tribute to the city, its hidden places, and the people who live in and move through it.

Each work is made to order and handcrafted in our studio in Copenhagen.

Unique and handmade artwork carved from wood. The wood's structure and living surface give a sense of tactility, and the small level differences give depth to the images. The artwork is handmade at our studio in Copenhagen, made from sustainable wood and painted with organic colors. In each artwork there will be marks and signs from the wood, making each woodcut unique and personal.
