The Skovshoved Petrol Station is a small but iconic work by the Danish architect Arne Jacobsen. Located along the coastal road north of Copenhagen, it is often celebrated as one of the earliest examples of modernist service architecture.

The building is characterized by its clean, curved canopy, simple geometric forms, and careful attention to proportion and detail. Despite its modest function, it is treated with a design seriousness, creating a refined and elegant roadside landmark.

Today, it remains a well-preserved example of early functionalism and a testament that even everyday structures deserve architectural quality
