A handcrafted graphic wooden artwork depicting the iconic Lifeguard Tower at Bellevue Beach in Klampenborg, designed by graphic designer Rikke Nogel. Made in our Copenhagen studio, the piece is carefully carved in wood and painted with organic colors.

The artwork illustrates Arne Jacobsen’s celebrated lifeguard tower, known for its distinctive blue-and-white stripes, clean geometric lines, and elegant spiral staircase. Balancing function and sculptural simplicity, the tower evokes a nautical presence, reminiscent of a ship’s bridge overlooking the Øresund coast.

Though modest in scale, the lifeguard tower has become a lasting symbol of Danish modernist design and Scandinavian functionalist architecture, and remains a beloved landmark north of Copenhagen.
