Created by Copenhagen-based graphic designer Rikke Nogel, this piece explores wood as both material and image surface. Natural pigments are applied in a way that emphasizes texture, grain, and subtle shifts in depth, allowing the physical qualities of the wood to shape the visual expression.

Colour and form are composed into a balanced structure where layered elements build quiet complexity and movement across the surface. Depending on light and viewing angle, the work reveals changing details and spatial depth.
